Investment Horizon
We adapt our investment approach to align with each company’s path, from quick exits to long-term partnerships of ten years or more. Our focus is on strategic fit and maximizing value, ensuring exits align with both the investment’s growth and our partners’ objectives.
We Focus On:
- Acquiring companies with revenues of between £5m and £25m.
- Venture or growth capital investments into companies with over £5m revenue.
- For larger transactions we also have partnership agreements to co-invest alongside larger trade or private equity investors.
Our Team
Stephen Altman
Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co in 1988. He has over 20 years experience in corporate finance having worked at BNP Paribas, PWC and Deloitte & Touche. Stephen’s experience includes a public-to-private takeover, management buy-outs and buy-ins, company sales, acquisitions and development capital fundraising.
Max Weil
Max qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers. Before joining NWCF he worked at a family office where he worked on originating, managing and executing private equity investments into growth stage companies. He also has experience in advisory work that has ranged from small private fundraises to IPO advice.
George Barham
George qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte. He also worked for an investment banking specialist, Fenchurch Advisory, and a family office called Pacific Investments.
Carina O Brien
Carina joined New World in 2005 and is responsible for the day to day running of the office. Carina also provides secretarial and administrative support to the team and is responsible for the internal accounting function.
